What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of conditions of the joints, muscles and nerves of the body and their effects on our general health.
Chiropractic is the largest primary healthcare profession in the world, after medicine and dentistry, and is a way of helping you to be as healthy as possible.
By restoring normal function to the musculoskeletal system, chiropractors can play a major part in relieving disorders, and any accompanying pain or discomfort, arising from accidents, stress, lack of exercise, poor posture, illness and the everyday wear and tear that happens to all of us.
Chiropractic care is mostly associated with the treatment of back pain, neck pain and headaches. However, we also deal with any pain that develops in arms, ribs and legs which can often be related to spinal problems.
By considering your symptoms in the context of your full medical history, your lifestyle and your personal circumstances, chiropractors can provide a package of care that is evidence-based and widely recommended.
Our chiropractors will aim to
Reassure you
Alleviate your distress by controlling your pain
Help you to prevent it happening so often
Restore you to normal activity
